Building the Europe of places and links
38th Meeting of Urban Planning Agencies

The 38th National Congress of urban planning agencies will be held in Strasbourg Eurometropole, in November, the 8th-9th-10th.

Europe, and more specifically its territories, will be the main subject this year, with three different approaches: Citizens as Europe-makers, European territorials networks and the search of an European Common Good.

The initiative “Story of Europe” is made to gather contributions, through this platform. They will help to nourish the debates and have a clearer view of what is nowadays Europe for its citizens, its cities and territories and those who are making them. In a few words, you will be asked to tell your own story of Europe, and how much “European” is your urban planning agency or your territory.

In a few words (500 signs maximum), explain how Europe had affected you, by helping you creating some links with other people or places. It could be an everyday life experience: friendship, work-related, student exchange, family, holidays… with a European or cross-borders tone.

It could be as well an event, a personal commitment or a peculiar interest in a EU program, which triggered for you a sense of belonging to larger European community.
